A 33-year-old Whitlam man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today after being charged with multiple historical sexual assault offences.

The alleged offending occurred between 2007 and 2016.
Following an extensive investigation by the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Team, officers attended the man’s address in Whitlam yesterday (Tuesday 6 January 2026) and placed him under arrest.
He is scheduled to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today (Wednesday 7 January 2026) charged with three counts of reckless sexual intercourse without consent and three counts of acts of indecency.
Police are urging any victims of sexual assault to report these criminal activities.
