Six youths were arrested after a robbery at Elizabeth South overnight.
Police were called to a supermarket on Philip Highway, Elizabeth South at 3.30am on Saturday 17 January by reports a woman had been robbed in the car park.
The woman was about to get out of her car to start work when she was allegedly approaching by a group of youths armed with a knife, who pulled her out of her car and demanded her car keys.
The youths were unable to take the car but stole her keys, cash and other personal property from the vehicle.
The victim, a 48-year-old woman, was not physically injured but shaken by the incident.
Police searched the area and conducted inquiries that led them to two nearby addresses where six boys were subsequently arrested.
The two 12-year-old and four 14-year-old boys were all charged with aggravated robbery and illegal use.
Four of the youths were bailed to appear in the Elizabeth Magistrates Court on 27 February.
Two of the 14-year-olds were not granted police bail and will appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on Monday.
The woman’s car was towed from the scene for forensic examination.
