Junior time travellers and their families are invited to discover local history at the Wanneroo Regional Museum’s new play space.
Designed for young children aged 0-8 years and their families, the transformed space uses hands-on play to connect children with local stories, including market gardening and everyday life in historic Wanneroo.
Mayor Linda Aitken said the City welcomed local families to visit and discover Wanneroo’s history through play at the new Museum play space.
“Children can travel back in time and explore local stories through hands-on, imaginative and sensory play,” she said.
“The play space provides a welcoming, free and accessible activity for families visiting the Wanneroo Library and Cultural Centre.”
She said the City also invites early learning centres to visit and use the space as part of local learning, community connection and cultural discovery.
Plan your visit to the Wanneroo Regional Museum, open Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm and Saturday 12pm to 4pm.
