At the City of Wanneroo Ordinary Council Meeting on Tuesday 28 July, Council made the following decisions.
Kingsway new home for not-for-profit No Limits
A long-term home for essential emergency relief charity No Limits Perth is one step closer to reality after the City granted the organisation a peppercorn ground lease.
The not-for-profit have secured the 1500sqm site at Kingsway Regional Sporting Complex in Madeley after they outgrew their premises in Wangara.
No Limits provides food, essentials and support to people experiencing homelessness, family and domestic violence, disaster and financial distress.

Accessibility boost for Clarkson with new Changing Places facility
A new Changing Places facility is set to enhance accessibility and inclusion in Clarkson, with Council endorsing the Clarkson Library precinct.
Changing Places facilities go beyond a standard accessible toilet, providing an adult-sized change table and ceiling hoist so people with high support needs can be changed safely and with dignity while out in the community.

City seeks community feedback on potential dog beach locations
Community consultation will soon begin to capture feedback on three potential new dog beach locations and the extension of another.
With the number of registered dogs more than doubling from 18,500 dogs in 2012 to 39,289 in 2025, the City is committed to exploring opportunities to provide beach access to dog exercise areas while balancing the needs of all beach users and protecting our coastline.
Community consultation is expected to commence in the second half of 2026.
Boundary review deferred as Wanneroo focuses on growth
Following preliminary discussions with the Minister for Local Government and the Local Government Advisory Board, Council has resolved to defer a district boundary review.
The review will be reconsidered when the City is better placed to assess the potential financial, operational and resourcing implications alongside the demands of its continued growth.
